 The Boves and the Belfry
The Boves: A tour of the town's basements which allows you to discover the underground history of Arras. Originally a chalk-pit, les Boves were dug from the 10th century and had multiple functions through the ages.

Arras is famous above all for its Flemish Baroque-style square which, together with the Town Hall and the Belfry (which has been classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site) is a real treasure. Arras will overwhelm you not only by its wealth of heritage, but also by its way of life which defines the town.
