 SECLIN
seclinThe Mélantois capital, Seclin has a favourable geographic location south of Lille Metropole and close to main roads and transports links. A real countryside town, Seclin has a rich 100,000-year-old history.
Three historic buildings are outstanding: the 13th-century Collégiale Saint Piat built on St Piat the Martyr's grave, the Notre Dame Hospital established by Marguerite de Flandre in 1246 and finally a rare construction from the revolution, the cemetery door.
Two very interesting museums shine over the town: the Napoleon Mandarine and Fort Seclin 1914-1918.

Domaine mandarine napoléon seclin Domaine Mandarine Napoléon

An authentic square farm, the domain Napoleon combines a harmonious mixture of bricks and greenery with the elegance and charm of an old sugar refinery.
The Napoleon museum has more than 400 pieces. A true play attraction, but also an educational place, the museum is surrounded by a mandarin-tasting room and a gift shop.
